US/THEM group is a full-service boutique media relations and promotion firm. Founded in May 2009 in collaboration with Sargent House, US/THEM group promotes great bands employing all means necessary. We service print, online, social media and tour/regional press aiming to help shape the new outlook of the music industry for the future. Co-founder and senior publicist Dave Clifford, coming from nearly 15 years of experience in music promotion, established US/THEM group with Cathy Pellow of visionary label and management company Sargent House, Rodriguez Lopez Productions and Refused TV. We are not simply fans of music, it consumes our everyday life.  

Dave has played in DIY touring bands since the age of 15-years-old (including Red Sparowes, The VSS, Pleasure Forever), released his own fanzines, promoted shows, released records, and worked as a freelance music journalist for Salon, SF Weekly, ABCNews, Time Out NY, Alternative Press, Your Flesh, Buddyhead and countless others. After working as Promotion Director for producer David Sardy's See-Thru Broadcasting label in the late 90s, Dave went on to become Senior Publicist at Fanatic Promotion from 2005 - 2009.
